We are fully insured and a PA Licensed restoration contractor. We offer a written one-year limited warranty on repairs that are performed by FireDEX of Pittsburgh. Should you have any questions, please give us a call. The following are answers to frequently asked questions.
What are considered emergency services?
Repairs that are authorized by your insurance carrier immediately following a disaster. FireDEX of Pittsburgh offers Emergency Services 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.
Will I be given an estimate?
Upon completion of the emergency services, a FireDEX of Pittsburgh Estimator will prepare a detailed line item estimate for the customer as well as the insurance carrier outlining necessary repairs. Once approval is obtained from the customer and the insurance carrier, the repair process can then begin.
What's involved in the repairing process?
After approval is obtained by the carrier and customer, the estimator will assign the information to a FireDEX of Pittsburgh Project Coordinator (PC) who will organize the repair process from start to finish. The PC will assist in material choices and is responsible for all aspects of the job’s production. They will be on the job site daily and be available to the customer at all times.
What are the cost allowances & material choices?
The customer will be provided a list of cost allowances that is allocated to replace damaged materials. The cost will be equivalent to the style and also the quality of those items damaged.
Will I be given a completion date?
Because of the complexity of disaster restoration repairs, we do give an approximate completion date. We striveto coordinate scheduling, order materials way ahead of time.
What are the arrangements for payment?
The insurance carrier will provide the customer with an insurance draft payment for repairs. Depending upon the size of the project, the payment may be made with installments.
Do you have customer references?
FireDEX of Pittsburgh provides a list of previous customer references by request. Many have experienced mold, fire damage, storm damage, etc.
